Tinubu Approves New Appointments For NCC, NIGCOMSAT, GALAXY BACKBONE

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of the following Nigerians to serve in agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.

The appointments include those of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) which now has Mr. Abraham Oshadami as Executive Commissioner, Technical Services and Rimini Makama as Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management.

The Presidential approval also include that of Mr. Opeyemi Dele-Ajayi as President/CEO of the Digital Bridge Institute.

Others include those in the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited which showed Mr. Abiodun Attah taking over as the Executive Director, Technical Services with Aisha Abdullahi as Executive Director, Finance & Administration while Jaiyeola Awokoya as Executive Director, Marketing & Business Development.

Similarly, Galaxy Backbone Limited, has Ibrahim Adepoju Adeyanju as Managing Director/CEO, Mohammed Sani Ibrahim as Executive Director, Finance & Corporate Services, Olusegun Olulade — Executive Director, Customer Centricity & Marketing and Olumbe Akinkugbe as Executive Director, Digital Exploration & Technical Services

A statement by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, said that with the reconstitution of the management teams in the agencies, President Tinubu anticipates that the seasoned professionals will deliver excellent service to elevate the impact of the digital economy sector on the socio-economic development of the nation.
