APC Assures Kogites Of Better Days, Salutes Gov Bello On 2nd Term
BY VICTOR BUORO, ABUJA – The All Progressives Congress (APC) says the people of Kogi State are set to enjoy better days ahead as Governor Yahaya Bello will deliver on people-oriented policies in his second tenure.
In a congratulatory message to the Governor on his second term inauguration holding on Monday, January 27, the ruling party assured of positive development in the North central state going forward.
The party also saluted Mr Edward Onoja as he takes the oath of office as Kogi State new deputy governor.
The statement signed by Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, its National Publicity Secretary, said; “In the last governorship election, the people of Kogi State demonstrated unequivocally their implicit trust and confidence in the governor, thereby renewing the mandate of the APC-led government.
“We assure Kogites that the governor would not take this sacred trust for granted and would continue to clean the rot bequeathed by past PDP administrations and galvanise the resources of the state towards uplifting the confluence state and taking It to the next level.”
According to Mallam Issa-Onilu, “Our great party is confident that the Governor Bello-led administration will justify the overwhelming re-election mandate bestowed on the administration by the good people of Kogi State.”
He further pledged that the APC-led adminstration would redouble “its efforts in harnessing the state’s massive potentials and bringing people-focused development to the state.”
