The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has castigated the All Progressives Congress (APC), for doubting the ability of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to transmit the 2023 results in real time from polling units to a central server.
This was as the PDP said that it was fully behind INEC in the use of BVAS and electronic transmission of election results.
It noted that the APC was already jittery knowing that with the use of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS), its chances of rigging the elections would be limited.
National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, who stated these while responding to the position of the APC as stated by its National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, said that the APC is aware that it stand no chance in 2023 in a free, fair and credible elections.
In the words of Ologunagba; “The APC knows they stand no chance of winning elections in this country if the process is transparent.
“At a time the whole world is commending INEC, the APC national chairman is expressing doubt. What does that tell you? The ruling party does not want the 2023 polls to be credible, free and fair.
“The PDP is fully behind INEC in the use of BVAS and planned transmission of results in real time,” he said.
