APC’s Lifespan Will Terminate In 2019 – Senator Nyako

BY AMOS DUNIA, ABUJA – As the race for 2019 gathers momentum, the Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial district in the National Assembly, Abdullaziz Nyako has declared that the lifespan of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will terminate in 2019.

Nyako therefore urged the people of Adamawa State not to waste their votes APC in 2019, stressing that the mass defection of Senators and members of the House of Representatives shortly before the National Assembly proceeded on its annual recess marked a clear a signal that the end time for the APC has come.

Nyako, who stated these in Yola, the Adamawa State capital when he received in audience the State Executives Committee members of the ADC in his Jimeta home, said he is now relieved and a happy man since his formal defection to the ADC stressing that it was the best of things to have happened.

Speaking on Governor Jibrilla Bindow-led administration in the state, Senator Nyako regretted that Adamawa State has been ravaged as a result of injustice against the people.

According to him; “The people of the state have been treated as ‘less mortals’ in the last three years. I dare to say that political leaders that take the electorate for granted should be taught a bitter lesson.

He expressed sadness that Governor Bindow administration failed to take cognizance of the heterogeneous nature of Adamawa in his dealings, adding that the state is unfortunately more divided now than ever before.

In his words: “The people of Adamawa are the easiest to govern if their cultural and religious background are taken into consideration by the governor. In the last three years, it has been attrition against the people by this administration.”

“We were born here. We were brought up here and we understand our culture as well as our religious beliefs and I can tell you that our people are easy to be governed.”
