The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Wednesday granted the application of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to reconfigure its Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) for the March 11 governorship and House of Assembly elections.
The court also granted the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the February 25, 2023 presidential election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, approval to inspect materials used for the conduct of the presidential election.
A three-member panel led by Justice Joseph Ikyegh granted the appeal by Tinubu to inspect the materials.
Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, was present at the court to observe case of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) instituted by his party and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
