Asisat Oshoala’s Goal Gifts Barca Victory

Nigeria’s Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala scored the winning goal for Barcelona ladies in their 1-0 victory over Sporting de Huelva in Spanish Primera Iberdrola game.

The Falcons captain’s effort helped the Catalans to their fourth win this season. The hard-fought win is expected to serve as a morale booster ahead of their Champions League meeting with Juventus of Italy.

Putting behind her Nigeria’s unfortunate exit and failure to qualify for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Oshoala, was her usual brilliant self in securing all three points for the Lluís Cortés’side.

She has so far scored four goals in five league matches this season for the Barcelona ladies.

The victory now takes Barca back on top of the table on goal difference with 13 points from five matches
