Easter: NSCDC Deploys 40,0000 Personnel For Security

VICTOR BUORO, ABUJA – The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu, has approved the deployment of 40,000 personnel for the Easter celebration across the nation.
 
He also directed the deployment of sniffer dogs, Special Forces, Ambulances and Surveillance team to strategic areas nationwide during the Easter celebration.
 
The NSCDC CG charged the personnel to ensure the protection of critical infrastructure within their localities against vandals and other criminal elements.
 
This is just as he directed Zonal and State Commandants to ensure efficient deployment of their personnel to all nooks and crannies for effective policing of lives and property against any form of attack.
 
A statement by the spokesman of the NSCDC, ACC Emmanuel Okeh said the CG of the Service also directed his officers to ensure effective collaboration and synergy with other security agencies towards tackling insecurity through mutual relationship.
Gana equally urged parents and guardians to closely monitor their wards during the celebration, saying; “The law is no respecter of anyone caught in criminal activities.”
