As part of his determination for an enhanced and efficient governance for optimal and beneficial administration for the people of Benue State, Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia has approved fresh appointments into different parastatals in the state.
A statement by Sir Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Benue State, said that the development is in furtherance of Governor Alia’s commitment to repositioning the institutions of government for optimal service delivery, efficiency, and accountability.
Kula said that the new appointees were carefully selected based on their track record of competence, dedication, and integrity.
The statement said that Governor Alia while congratulating the appointees, charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by discharging their duties diligently and in line with the administration’s vision of transforming the State.
The statement also said that the present acting Executive Secretary, Teaching Service Board and the Acting Chairman of the Benue Internal Revenue Services have been directed to report back to Head of Service for reassignment of their responsibilities, while the acting General Manager, BENSESSA was directed to report back to the Governor’s office.
The statement stated that the appointments takes effect on Monday, July 7, 2025.
