PMB Administration Has Not Failed Nigerians – Emir of Wase

BY CHAMBERLAIN ODEY, JOS – The Emir of Wase, Dr. Muhammad Sambo Haruna has said that President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has not disappointed or failed Nigerians.

He said this is particularly against the backdrop of the difficult circumstances that were dominant in the national space when the administration took over power two years ago.

Dr. Haruna, who stated this in his message to mark the 2017 Democracy Day, commended President Buhari for his focused leadership that enabled him to reposition the country and saved the economy from total collapse.

He therefore congratulated Buhari and Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State on the occasion of the 18th Democracy Day celebrations.

The Emir’s message, which was contained in a press statement issued by the Wase Emirate Council, paid special tribute to the President for his determined and gallant fight against corruption, and the success recorded so far in the recovery of huge and staggering sums of money.

He also expressed delight with the President for restoring normalcy in the North-east by winning the war against insurgency and restoring the country’s territorial integrity.

Dr. Haruna called on all well-meaning Nigerians, especially Muslim faithful observing the Ramadan fast, to pray for the speedy recovery of the President as he recuperates from health challenges.

The Emir, who is also chairman of the Plateau State chapter of the Jamatul Nasril Islam (JNI), also praised the Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong for his track record of achievements in just two years in office.

He noted that the restoration of peace in the state is an invaluable achievement, stressing that progress and security of lives and property is the biggest and most significant achievement any worthwhile government can work for.
