…Tasks Gov’s media team on projecting FG reforms
The Presidency has applauded the accomplishments of Governor Hyacinth Alia within two years, declaring that they were clear evidence that Governor has prudently utilized revenues accruing to the state much of which come from the positive outcomes of President Bola Tinubu’s reforms.
Presidential spokesman, Mr Bayo Onanuga, who stated the position of the Presidency, therefore called for stronger collaboration between the media team of the Benue State Governor and that of the Presidency in projecting the developmental strides of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration.
Onanuga, who stated these in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, during an interactive session with Governor Alia’s media team, noted that the achievements, reflected a focused and deliberate approach to governance.
At the meeting, Onanuga was taken through a detailed presentation of Governor Alia’s projects and achievements by Sir Tersoo Kula, the Chief Press Secretary to the Benue State Governor.
The presentation highlighted Governor Alia’s interventions across key sectors, including road construction and rehabilitation, agriculture, healthcare, education, ICT, industrialization, the humanitarian sector, and human capital development.
Commenting on the achievements, Onanuga expressed surprise at the level of progress achieved within just two years in office, emphasising that Governor Alia’s performance demonstrated a clear understanding of the fundamental needs of the people and a commitment to addressing them.
Onanuga said; “President Tinubu is pleased with APC governors who are delivering good governance. There is the need for synergy among media teams of APC-controlled states to ensure that Nigerians are adequately informed of the administration’s efforts and achievements”.
