- He’s a liability
Thirteen aspirants gunning for the Benue State governorship seat on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections are uniting against the return of Governor Samuel Ortom to the party that he dumped just before the 2015 elections.
In a media briefing held on Monday in Abuja, the aspirants described Governor Ortom as a liability that will hurt PDP’s fortunes in the state come 2019.
According to one of the aspirants, John Tondu, “The Governor of Benue State today is a liability, not an asset. He’s not welcome.”
