2023: I’ve No Business With Live Television Interviews – Tinubu

…Says, he is the next president of Nigeria

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared that he is contesting for the presidency of Nigeria and not media president thus, has no business with the media with regards to live television interview.

This was as he said that he is the next President of Nigeria, stressing that there are no two ways about it as it is already clear that Nigerians all over the country are strongly behind him right from the East, West, North and South.

According to Tinubu; “I have no rival and I don’t see any rival at all in the forthcoming elections”.

The APC presidential candidate told journalists that he is fully prepared ahead of the 2023 election, adding that he has the structure, mechanism, experience and expertise to win the election.

Tinubu said that those going to the media are candidates without political structure, who cannot win more than two polling units in their State thus have to be busy running after the media to help publicize them and make them famous.
Tinubu said that asking him why he has not granted any live television interview since his emergence as the presidential flag bearer of the APC, is not an issue of discourse especially now that the country is yearning for a good leader that will take over from President Muhammadu Buhari in order to continue with his good legacies.
In the words of Tinubu; “Nigeria is in need of a pragmatic leader with pragmatic knowledge and understanding of their needs and that person is me. I am not going to Aso Villa to represent the Nigerian Broadcasting Cooperation, neither am I going there to represent the Nigerian Journalists, rather I’m going there to represent the people of Nigeria in the international community as their President.
“Is live television interview a guarantee to win and become the Nigerian President? It is never a guarantee and will never be. I am not against those going to them for interview. They are free to go but, as for me nobody will tell me what to do or what not to do. They don’t own me.
“All I know is that I am fully prepared ahead of the 2023 election. I have the structure, the mechanism, the experience and expertise to win the election. Those going to the media are those without political structure and cannot win more than two polling unit in their State, that is why they are busy running after the media to help publicize them and make them famous. That’s all.
“Insha Allah, I am the next President of Nigeria, no two ways about it. It’s already clear that Nigerians all over the country are strongly behind me right from the East, West North and South. I have no rival and I don’t see any rival at all in the forthcoming elections.

“All I see is noise makers, people without political structures and some baby politicians running up and down simply because the constitution gave them that little privilege to try their luck via contesting for an election,” he said.
