2023: I’ve Not Resigned As Nigeria’s Chief Law Officer – Malami Says

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN on Thursday declared that contrary to insinuations making the rounds, he has not resigned as the Chief Law Officer of the country.

Malami, who stated this in a terse statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations, Dr. Umar Jibrilu Gwandu,  said that he remains committed to discharging statutory obligations and constitutionally delineated responsibilities in accordance with the provisions of extant laws.

Malami thanked Nigerians for the demonstration of love and unparalleled interest shown in him.
