The Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Vice President, Mr. Laolu Akande has confirmed that a passionate team of support groups and individual Nigerians from across the country were those that raised funds for the purchase of the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination forms for his principal, Professor Yemi Osinbajo’s 2023 Presidential bid.
Akande said that the forms were also collected on Thursday by representatives of the team, just as the Vice President continues his interactions with APC stakeholders across the States.
He also said that the Vice President held meetings with APC delegates and Stakeholders in Cross River and Bayelsa States on Thursday in his efforts to mobilize mass support from delegates across the states.
This as it was gathered that Vice President Osinbajo is receiving tremendous support from across the country.
