ADC Moves To Stamp Authority, Submits NEC Minutes, List Of Executives To INEC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), has demonstrated its commitment to internal democracy, transparency, and constitutional adherence with the submission of the minutes of its 99th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The ADC in a letter dated July 29, 2025, which was submitted to INEC on August 1, the leadership of the coalition party, highlighted key decisions reached at the NEC meeting held on the same day.

                            

It stated that among the resolutions was the invocation of Article 19(12)(vii) and Article 19(14) of the ADC Constitution (2022), which empowers the NEC to assume the roles and responsibilities of the National Convention until the next convention is convened.

The submission was signed by the ADC National Chairman, Ralphs Okey Nwosu, and the National Secretary, Alhaji Sa’d Baba Abdullahi, who emphasized the party’s ongoing dedication to good governance and regulatory compliance.

It stated; “This submission reflects our continued commitment to transparency, good governance, and adherence to regulatory standards”.

The ADC extended its fraternal warm handshake and hihest esteem to the commission in keeping with its tradition of formal engagement.

The party’s NEC now comprised a broad leadership structure that included the following;

Senator David A. B. Mark – National Chairman

Senator Patricia Akwashiki – Deputy National Chairman

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola – National Secretary

Senator Tunde Ogbeha, Sen. Musa Elayo, Dr. Mani Ibrahim, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, Barr. Solomon Dalung, Senator Sadiq Yar’Adua, Babachir David Lawal, among other notable political figures holding different positions.

The ADC with a mantra; “Arise & Shine Nigeria,” has continued to project itself as a people-oriented party, promoting inclusivity and progressive democracy across the federation and diaspora.
