Some professional associates from the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIEVS) have visited the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) to congratulate the Executive Director, Finance, Professor Muhammad Bashar Nuhu, on his appointment and to celebrate his achievement as one of their professional colleagues.
The delegation, led by Dr. Sunday Ukuoma Okoh, presented a portrait frame to Prof. Bashar Nuhu on behalf of his professional associates in recognition of his appointment to the NCDC management team.
The presentation was witnessed by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the NCDC, Dr. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, alongside other Executive Directors of the Commission.
Speaking during the presentation, Dr. Okoh said the professional colleagues were proud of Prof. Bashar Nuhu and his achievement, describing him as a committed professional whose expertise, integrity and dedication would enable him to serve with distinction in his new national assignment.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the NCDC, Dr. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, appreciated the professional colleagues for their visit and gesture of solidarity.
Tsenyil said the honour bestowed on Prof. Bashar Nuhu was, in effect, an honour to the entire Commission, noting that the visit demonstrated the strong professional networks and goodwill that exist around the NCDC.
Responding, Prof. Muhammad Bashar Nuhu thanked his professional colleagues for the visit, congratulatory message and presentation of the portrait frame.
Nuhu described the gesture as a source of encouragement and motivation to give his very best in the service of the nation and to contribute to the successful implementation of the mandate of the North Central Development Commission.
