Akpabio, Senators Know Natasha’s Allegation Is True – Rivers LP Chairman Says
The Chairperson of the Rivers State chapter of the Labour Party (LP), Mrs Hilda Dokubo, has declared that the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio knows that the allegation of sexual harassment made against him by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan was true.
She stressed that what was expected of the Senate President, was to come down from his high horse and tender an apology to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and explain that his alleged words were taken out of context.
Mrs Dokubo, who is also veteran Nollywood actress, specifically said that every senator in the Senate chamber, particularly Akpabio, knows that the allegation by the Kogi Central Senator was true, but are not willing to allow an investigation of the matter.
Dokubo, who stated these on Wednesday, April 2, during an interview, faulted the criticisms against Natasha on the premise that she had other husbands before Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan.
The Nollywood veteran said that there was nothing wrong with the Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan being emotional in speaking out about her ordeal, saying that “who feels it, knows it”.
