APC Chairmanship: Tinubu Visits Recuperating Senator Musa

As activities hot up for the February 26 National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has paid a get-well visit to one of the Chairmanship aspirants, Senator Sani Musa currently recuperating from illness in Abuja.

Senator Musa, who chairs the Senate Services Committee, represents Niger East Senatorial district in the upper legislative chamber.

Moving to boost his 2023 presidential ambition, Asiwaju Tinubu visited Senator Musa in his Maitama residence in Abuja on Friday night, saying he was interested in knowing the lawmaker’s state of health.

The former Lagos State Governor expressed happiness that the APC National Chairmanship aspirant was feeling very well after returning from his medical trip, stressing that his visitĀ was a get-well one and to check on the Senator health-wise against the backdrop that he just returned to the country last week after travelling out for medical attention.

He assured Senator Musa, considered among the leading aspirants for the APC National Chairmanship position, that his selfless contributions to the Party’s success between 2014 and 2015 would not go unrewarded.

ā€œThe sacrifices of Distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa for the All Progressives Congress in 2014/2015 will not go in vain, the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress are fully aware, Inshallah, he will be rewardedā€, Asiwaju Tinubu said.

Describing the APC Senator as being eminently qualified to lead the ruling party as its National Chairman, Tinubu said Senator Musa is one aspirant with a blueprint that would drive a New Vision for the party in the direction of electoral victory come 2023.

Reacting to the visit, Senator Sani Musa appreciated Asiwaju Tinubu for the kind getsure and prayed that God will continue to keep him in sound and good health in his continued service to humanity and the country at large.
