APC Convention: I’ll Be Your Voice – Agbomhere Assures Youth

An aspirant for the office of National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Blessing Agbomhere has said that his aspiration is anchored on the need to create a strong synergy between the youth wing and the leadership of the party, and nation.

This was as he also said that his decision to serve is firmly rooted on the thresholds of ensuring maximum involvement of the youths in the affairs and decision making process of the Party and the nation as well as ensure active youth engagement in governance.

Agbomhere in a statement made available to Forefront News, said that beyond the provisions of Article14(22) of the APC Constitution which expressly ingeminate the duties of the National Youth Leader as mobilizing the youths for attainment of Party Objectives and initiating cum implementing strategic programmes that will endear the party to Nigerian youths, assured that he is well abreast of and capacitated to perform the functions of the office.

In his words; “I am equipped to ensure the harmonization of the Youths structure by creating an effective working relationship between youth leaders as contained within the official structure and affiliated youth groups, all with the mandate of mobilizing young Nigerians, for the party, and engaging them in Nation building.

“I have been listening to the ordinary youths of our great party. I have listened to their various concerns, fears and disillusionment. We can bring in innovative solutions to the myriad challenges of our nation, Nigeria.

“Let me emphatically state here that overtime, I have been privileged to serve our great party in numerous capacities and positions hence I can say, with mathematical exactitude and precision the quagmire of the Youth Population of our great Party.

“Our great party is already at the helm of affairs of our country, hence I want to be given the job to mobilize the Youth Population of this Country, the largest voting constituents in Nigeria to ensure the APC stays dominant whilst ascending its pride of place for the good of all young Nigerians,” he said.

Agbomhere assured that with the mandate of Party members and maximum support, he will act for the benefit of each and every youth in the party just as he assured the youth of the Party of a voice that would never stop fighting in their best interest.

He therefore appealed; “Choose me today as your National Youth Leader, and we will reposition the Youth Wing of our great Party together to build the Nation of our dream”.
