BY AMOS DUNIA, ABUJA – The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has resigned his position with immediate effect.
Mallam Abdullahi, a known close political associate of the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki is believed to have dropped his letter of resignation few minutes after Saraki announced his leaving the APC.
Abdullahi is believed to have been uncomfortable with happenings in the APC without consultation with other stakeholders in the running of the affairs of the party.
A case in point is the dissolution of the Kwara State Executive Committee of the APC which was carried out with a fiat by the National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and National Secretary, Mallam Ibrahim Mala Bunu without any reference to him from the state among other things.
