Armed Gunmen Kidnap PDP Chieftain In Kaduna

BY AMOS TAUNA, KADUNA – A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, Musa Danbaba Saya-Saya, is reported to have been kidnapped at about 1:00 am on Tuesday morning by five armed gunmen

It was gathered that the gunmen stormed Saya-Saya village in Ikara Local Government Area of Kaduna State during which they forced their way into the residence of Musa Danbaba Saya-Saya, who was former State Treasurer of the PDP in Kaduna.

 The son of the Saya-Saya, Mr. Aliyu, confirmed the story, saying that the gunmen invaded the house and abducted his father with two vehicles.

When contacted, spokesman of the Kaduna State Police command, Mukhtari Aliyu said the police state command was yet to confirm the motive of the attack and the kidnapping.

The police spokesman, however, said that the anti-crime team in the state had been activated to rescue the politician.

 According to him; “Immediately we got the report, the Commissioner of Police activated and instructed the anti-crime squad to take all necessary measures to rescue the victim.”
