Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been replaced by Arsenal’s Matteo Guendouzi in the France squad to face Albania and Andorra in Euro 2020 Group H qualifiers after picking up an ankle injury.

The French Federation Federation (FFF) dropped the hints on Monday as the national team prepare for the international break this week

Pogba’s absence automatically earns Arsenal’s 20-year-old Guendouzi his first call-up by Coach Didier Deschamps as the reigning World champions host Albania on Saturday and Andorra three days later.

So far, the Les Bleus lead in Group H with nine points from four games.
