Billionaire Politician, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Dies At 53
Billionaire business turned politician, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Anambra State, is dead.
Senator Ubah, who travelled to London earlier this week for a family vacation, was believed to have died of cardiac arrest in the early hours of Saturday, July 27, 2024.
The two term senator who hailed from Nnewi, Anambra State, won election to the Senate in 2023 on the platform of the Young People’s Party (YPP), later defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Senator Ifeany Ubah, who was born on September 3, 1971, was a notable entrepreneur, businessman and later turned politician, founded Capital Oil (CCO) in 2001 and served as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Capital Oil facilities and outlets are located in the Southeast and Southwest geo-political zones of Nigeria, with one of the largest tank farms for petroleum products storage and distribution located in Lagos.
Senator Ubah’s death will remain a significant loss to the nation.
