BREAKING: Abducted ABU Students Released

BY SEGUN ADEBAYO, ABUJA – Nine students of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, who were kidnapped last Sunday along the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway, were released by their abductors in the early hours of today, Sunday November 22, 2020.

The students, who were travelling to the Nigerian French Language Village, Badagry in Lagos state, for an academic programme, comprise eight females and a male.

The students were released, according to family sources, upon the payment of N1 million for each student.

Both the school authorities and the police are yet to formally react to the release of the abducted students.
