Buhari Embarks On 16-Days Private Visit To London After Economic Forum In Saudi Arabia

BY VICTOR BUORO, ABUJA – President Muhammadu Buhari departs Nigeria today (Monday) on an official trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend the Economic Forum of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh.

Immediately after the summit, President Buhari will on Saturday November 2, 2019, proceed to the United Kingdom on a private visit.

A statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina said the President is expected to return to Nigeria on November 17, 2019.

Adesina explained that while in Saudi Arabia, President will hold bilateral talks with His Majesty King Salman and His Majesty King Abdullah ll of Jordan.

On Wednesday, 30th October, 2019, President Buhari along with President of Kenya, Congo-Brazzaville and Burkina Faso will participate in the High Level Event titled “What is next for Africa: How will Investment and Trade Transform the continent into the Next Great Economic Success Story?”
