The Presidency has banned all Federal Ministers from traveling out of the country more than eight times in a year.
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said President Muhammadu Buhari has therefore directed that no Minister should embark on foreign trips more than twice in any quarter.
According to the Presidential directive, henceforth, no Minister on a trip outside the country would be permitted to travel with more than four aides, who are directly relevant to the trip.
The Information Minister also stated that Government officials below the rank of Ministers are henceforth entitled to fewer aides during such trips outside the shores of Nigeria.
Similarly, he disclosed that estacode would no longer be calculated on an hourly basis for government officials
