Buhari Wants To Head All Three Arms Of Government – Secondus
BY AMOS DUNIA, ABUJA – National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus has said that Nigeria is seriously distressed and going through the most difficult time under President Muhammadu Buhari’s watch.
This is just as he said that President Buhari’s desire is to head all the three arms of government so as to turn a full blown dictator.
Secondus, who stated these while addressing party supporters at the Godswill Akpabio stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state on Monday, noted that President Buhari’s ambition is to be the Chief Justice of Nigeria, President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, yet he claims to a converted democrat.
The National Chairman, who led the PDP Presidential Campaign Council and the party’s Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and his team to Akwa Ibom state, said that all actions of President Buhari so far have become a huge threat to democracy and national cohesion.
A statement from his media office signed by Ike Abonyi quoted Secondus as having said; “The President wants to be everything, so that he can jail whoever he wants. If he fails to reverse the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen, something will happen, God will reverse it.”
The PDP National Chairman said that the situation in the country at the moment is precarious and the World is aware that the All Progressives Congress, (APC) and President Buhari want to destroy the country, adding however that Nigerians can no longer keep quiet.
He said that PDP is Akwa Ibom 100%, and warned that anybody trying to play God will be brought down by God, adding that; “You rig election in Akwa Ibom, you rig your head”.
Speaking in turn, the PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar told the mammoth crowd that the in-coming PDP Presidency will restore and make the economy work again.
Atiku assured that his Presidency will create jobs and combine with other good heads in the country in the area of economy like the Akwa Ibom State Governor Emmanuel Udom to put the country in the right path again.
Also speaking, the Vice Presidential candidate Peter Obi whose wife, Margaret is from Akwa Ibom state, told the people that time has come to put Nigeria in the hand of the person who can create job and remove hunger in the land.
The Akwa Ibom state, Governor Udom, assured the PDP and the Presidential candidate that come February 16, the state will give him overwhelming votes, adding that PDP is a religion in the state and will demonstrate it by February 16 and March, 2. 2019.
