BY UBON EKANEM, OBANLIKU – The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for this year’s election in Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu has promised to revamp the Ranch resort in the northern senatorial district as part of efforts to further promote the economic potential of the state.

He said in revamping the Ranch resort, the APC administration would give priority attention to making it commercially viable and attractive for tourists and foreign investors as well as the overall benefit of the local populace.

Prince Otu, who made the pledge during the governing party’s campaign rally in the Obanliku Local Government Area, explained that besides the promising economic benefits derivable from such a proactive blueprint, the arrangement equally aims at creating and opening up employment opportunities for the teeming youths across the State.

The gubernatorial flag bearer said having garnered experience as a one-time House of Representative member and a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he has a matchless capacity to perform and meet the people’s expectations when compared to candidates of other political parties who are also seeking the peoples support ánd mandate.

Additionally, he cautioned against giving support to people whose ambition to be governor of the state is predicated on truncating the power rotation policy that has remained a unifying factor across the three senatorial districts in the last 24 years.

The APC governorship Standard bearer was full of commendation for the State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade for initiating policies that have lifted youths out of poverty through myriad employment opportunities created in the state.
