Lists Of Campaign Councils For Bayelsa, Kogi And Imo, Fake – APC Says

The national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has disowned the list of a purported Governorship Campaign Council for the November 11, 2023 scheduled elections in Bayelsa, Kogi and Imo States.

Some sections of the media on Tuesday carried a story claiming that the ruling Party had constituted Campaign Councils for the three States ahead of the November governorship elections.

However, a terse statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mr Felix Morka, debunked the lists, saying that it did not originate from the Party’s National secretariat thus, should be discountenance and disregarded.

The statement stated; “The attention of the APC has been drawn to a national campaign council lists for the Nov. 11, governorship elections in Bayelsa, Kogi and Imo States in circulation in sections of the media.

“The lists are not official documents of the party and should be disregarded,” it stated.
