Chinese Community In Kano Condemns Killing Of Ummukulsum

BY SALISU IBRAHIM, KANO – The Chinese Business Community Association of Nigeria (CBCAN) has condemned the killing of Ummukulsum Buhari allegedly committed by one of its members, Mr. Geng Quanrong.

The association under the leadership of Wakilin Mutanen China a Kano, Mr. Mike Zhang, who condemned the unfortunate murder of Ummukulsum, said the law should be allowed to take its cause.

A statement by Mr. Guang Lei, Zhang, Personal Assistant to the Wakili, described the action as a criminal act that should be allowed to be professionally handled by relevant security agencies.

It further said; “The Chinese community in Kano is fully in support of the law taking its proper cause.

The community appreciated the hospitality extended to its members in Kano, stressing that they will continue to be friendly, law-abiding, and contribute to the development of Kano State.

While pledging to remain law-abiding, the community commiserated with the family of the deceased.

Geng Quanrong was alleged to have attacked Ummukulsum with a knife, and inflicted injuries on her which led to her death.

It was also alleged that Quanrong carried out the dastardly act because he felt jilted after a deep love relationship.
