After spending 85 day in detention, a Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna on Thursday granted the National Publicity Secretary of the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU), Mr Luka Binniyat bail.
Binniyat, a journalist, was arrested on November 4, 2021 over a story considered injurious by the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security Mr Samuel Aruwan.
He was initially charged before a Court in Kaduna over allegations of cyber stalking and was remanded in Kaduna Correctional Centre since last year.
