COVID-19: Nigeria’s Figures Now 318, 11 New Cases

The Nigeria Centre of Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 13 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the country.

It said 11 of the new cases are in Lagos while Kano and Delta have one each.

These new cases bring the total figure in the country to 318 with 70 patients treated and discharged.

According to the NCDC, the number of deaths have now risen to ten (10) since the first case was confirmed in the country early March.

Meanwhile, the NCDC in a latest tweet on its official handle said:
“A key lesson we have learnt in managing #COVID19Nigeria is the need to continuously strengthen national health security.

Collective action is critical. Religious & traditional leaders have a role to play in educating the public on #COVID19”
