BY AMOS DUNIA, ABUJA – The National Working Committee (NWC), of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has appointed the Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State to head the Party’s five-member fact finding committee for its chapter in Edo State.
Other members of the committee include Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State; former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi; former governor of Borno State and serving senator, Kashim Shettima with Honourable Ahmed Wadada as Secretary.
These were contained in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, in which he further said that the Committee is expected to meet with all disputing interests and present its findings to the party.
Issa-Onilu said the party took a decision earlier in the week to constitute a committee of prominent party leaders on the lingering crisis in our party in Edo State.
He said that the constitution of the fact finding Committee marks another step in the APC’s effort to find a lasting solution to the crisis and ensure the party comes out of it even stronger.
