EFCC Nabs 74 Internet Fraud Suspects In Ogun
Operatives of the Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recorded great success against internet fraudsters in Ogun State as they arrested seventy-four suspected on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Reports by the anti-graft agency said all the alleged fraudsters were nabbed at Government Residential Area (G.R.A), Shagamu, in Ogun State following surveillance and intelligence exposing their suspected internet-related offences.
A statement by the Commission said items recovered from them include seven exotic cars, three laptops, 124 mobile phones, one PlayStation 3 game, two motorcycles, and other incriminating documents.
The statement, issued by the Commission’s Media and Publicity department, further said the suspects will be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
