Family, Friends Mourn UK-based Nigerian Law Graduate Murdered In Abuja

The Family of a 23-year old graduate of law from Buckingham University, United Kingdom (UK), Mr Toritseju Emmanuel Jackson, have been thrown into mourning following the murder of their son in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to confirmed reports, Toritseju was found stabbed to death in the early hours of Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Zone 4, Wuse district of Abuja.

Toritseju, who completed his law studies at Buckingham University, only returned to Nigeria few months ago for the mandatory one-year call-to-bar programme at the Nigerian Law School (NLS).

In mourning his sudden demise, some of the family members and friends have taken to various social media platforms lamenting how saddening that Toritseju’s life was so brutally cut short before he could finish from the Law school and move on to achieve his dreams.

Most of the deeply touching messages expressed sadness at the unfortunate incident and hoped that perpetrators of the dastardly act would be brought to book.

The messages also said fishing out and punishing those that committed the crime will no doubt give the late Toritseju justice and peace in his final resting place.

For now, details of his death and those responsible are still sketchy. However, sources at the FCT Police Command assured that everything is being done to ensure the murderers are exposed and made to pay for their crime.
