FCT Police Arrest 4 Kidnappers, Free Victims in Bwari, Kwali

Sustained efforts by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command to ensure adequate security of life and properties in the nation’s Capital have continued to yield results with the arrest four suspected kidnappers in Bwari and Kwali Area Councils at the weekend.

According to a senior police officer who confirmed the developments, the Command, in foiling abduction attempts by some criminal elements, also rescued four victims in different operations undertaken by Police divisions in the two Area councils.

The officer, who did not want his name in print, said “Immediately the police received distress calls, our anti-kidnapping teams in the two separate divisions swung into action which led to the rescue of the victims and subsequent arrest of the culprits.

“While one victim was rescued and a suspect arrested in Bwari, three victims were rescued and three suspects arrested in Kwali by the divisions respectively.”

The officer further disclosed that “The rescued victims are two women and two men”, adding that; “The FCT Police Command will not relent its efforts in continuing to flush out and arrest criminals within the nooks and crannies of the Capital City.” – Report by PR Nigeria
