BY VICTOR OSOWOCHI – With assurances that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) curve is leveling out, the Federal Government has announced November 10, 2020, as resumption date for National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camps across the country.
Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare disclosed the news through his verified Twitter handle on Thursday, October 15, 2020.
In the message, Mr Dare said; “The resumption of the NYSC Orientation Camp for prospective Youth Corpers has been approved and opens on November 10th 2020. Full COVID-19 Protocols will be enforced.”
Following the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak in the country, the Federal Government, on March 18 2020, ordered the immediate closure of then ongoing NYSC orientation camps nationwide over fears of possible spread of the deadly virus among Corp members.
