Forbes Business Council Inducts iCentra CEO, Taopheek Babayeju

For his business acumen and diversity of  experience, a Nigerian entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer of iCentra, Taopheek Babayeju, has been inducted into the prestigious Forbes Business Council (FBC)

The FBC is foremost growth and networking organization for successful business owners and leaders worldwide.

According to the Council’s reports, Babayeju was vetted and selected by a review committee based on criteria that include a track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honours.

A statement by the FBC, which is an invitation-only community for successful executives and entrepreneurs, said; “We are honoured to welcome Taopheek Babayeju into the community.”

Endorsed by Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils, the collective that includes FBC, the statement further said; “Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world.”

Reacting to the latest honours, Babayeju described being accepted into the elite council as a major milestone in his career, saying, “I am happy and delighted to be welcomed in the Forbes Business Council, a globally recognized community of accomplished business minds.

“I look forward to using the platform to unlock more possibilities and create new opportunities.”

A seasoned Entrepreneur, author, and business strategist, Babayeju is a management, technology and project professional with over two decades (20 years) experience and expertise in business transformation, strategy and innovation, information security, technology consulting, project, program & portfolio management, change management, learning and development.

Besides leading iCentra, a foremost business and technology solutions company established in 2009, and currently serving clients across the globe through its offices in Texas, United States; London, United Kingdom; and Abuja, Nigeria, Babayeju also sits on the board of organizations such as Tafsan Investments Limited, Selbourne Limited.

Beyond business, he is a proponent of leadership and entrepreneurship as well as Africa’s development.

In line with his passion for people development and organizational excellence, Babayeju has co-founded and nurtured several social enterprises such as LeadPreneur – a platform dedicated to raising transformational leaders and entrepreneurs; The Pheek Foundation – an initiative that drives positive change through empowerment; and ProMaCon PM Foundation.

Additionally, his passion has seen him volunteering and serving in different capacities with several Not-for-profit organizations that include: Glovis Entrepreneurship and Leadership Development (GELD); Triola Aina Foundation; Project Management Institute; and Creative Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria (CEAN) among others.

Aside from its membership being by invitation only, “qualified candidates interested in joining must meet the following minimum criteria: You must be the owner, founder, or executive leader of a business. Your business must generate at least $500,000 USD in annual revenue or funding.”
