Former first Lady of Ondo State, Mrs Betty Akeredolu, has challenged Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace to learn to put things in proper context and stop twisting facts on ground.
Keyamo had in a message to President Trump after he designated Nigeria as Country of Particular Concern (CPC) and also threatened military action over alleged Christian genocide in the country, said there was no Christian genocide in Nigeria.
But, Mrs Akeredolu, the widow of late governor of Ondo state, Ogbeni Rotimi Akeredolu, who took to her official X handle and reacted to the letter Keyamo wrote to the US President, Donald Trump over Christian genocide in Nigeria, pointedly described the minister as “a dishonest person”.

In his post, Keyamo said there is no Christian genocide in Nigeria, saying that Boko Haram terrorists are the ones killing people irrespective of their tribe or religion.
In the words of Keyamo; “Just like the U.S and many countries in the world, we have faced our own fair share of societal violence; ours has been perpetrated by deadly groups known as Boko Haram, herdsmen and cattle rustlers”.

However, Mrs. Betty Akeredolu while responding to the post by Keyamo, said in Nigeria, Christians are being targeted and systematically killed.
She pointedly told Keyamo to stop denying what is obvious and urged the Aviation and Aerospace minister to stop being dishonest.
