Governor Fubara Makes First Public Appearance In Style After Suspension

Jubilation erupted on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, following the first public appearance of Governor Siminalayi Fubara since the proclamation of a State of Emergency in the State and his suspension by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Governor Fubara sudden appearance for Service at the Salvation Ministries situated in the GRA area of the Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt, where he worshipped alongside other congregants, took so many people particularly worshippers by surprise.

                                           

The development also put paid to the widespread rumours that he was hibernating at the Bayesa State Government House in Yenegoa amid political intrigues and uncertainty
The appearance of Fubara who was beaming with smiles equally laid to rest the speculations that he was trying to escape from the country.

Governor Fubara’s appearance is expected to go a long way in reassuring his supporters and the people of Rivers State about his stance and commitment to governance despite the ongoing political crisis.
