This fundamental principle holds when considering the current state of affairs in Rivers, particularly during the Christmas season of 2023, which will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark in the hearts and minds of its inhabitants.
The unparalleled benevolence displayed by the Rivers state government under the leadership of Governor Sim has transcended societal boundaries, encompassing both the public and private sectors, the young and old, as well as individuals involved in political and non-political endeavours.
Governor Sim’s unwavering dedication and commitment to the welfare of the people have been evident since assuming office, showcasing a leadership characterized by genuine care and exemplifying the testament found in Biblical scripture, where the righteous rule and the people rejoice.
In a manner reminiscent of the biblical figure Joshua, Governor Sim is diligently guiding the state towards a prosperous future, akin to the Promised Land. God bless all who supported the sim vision.
In recent times, there has been a noticeable shift in the approach of government towards benevolence, unlike past administrations. Previously, such initiatives were limited to specific groups. However, a transformation has occurred, leading me to wholeheartedly support the sentiments expressed by former Governor Peter Odili regarding the commendable actions taken by Governor Sim.
It is important to note that the admiration being expressed is not driven by sycophancy but rather an objective observation. Undeniably, the current state of affairs in Rivers is unmatched in terms of positive developments. The inclusive nature of this administration is undeniably praiseworthy and leaves a lasting impression.
In the spirit of the Christmas season, the Governor has made it his priority to bring joy, peace, and laughter to every home in Rivers. This has been achieved through extending the hand of benevolence to various groups within the state, which includes not only civil servants but also NGOs and professional bodies. Such a comprehensive approach ensures that the impact of these actions is felt by the entire population.
In a display of true leadership, Governor Sim has shown that inclusivity can be a cornerstone of effective governance. Regardless of one’s political alignment, tribe, or election support, Governor Sim has exemplified magnanimity by working to unite and involve all members of society.
