BY VICTOR BUORO, ABUJA – Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Musa Rabo, who was abducted last weekend by dare devil kidnappers was on Sunday rescued by Special Forces of the Nigeria Police.
ACP Rabo was in a commando style successfully rescued by a combined team of the members of the elite Special Forces of the Police as well as operatives from Kaduna, Niger and Zone 7 Command Headquarters Abuja.
The Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Frank Mba while confirming the latest his release said two male suspects were arrested in connection with the incident, adding that investigation into the scary incident is ongoing.
ACP Rabo, who waylaid and abducted him while travelling in his civil dress in his private vehicle and without an escort or any special security at the time of his abduction.
Forefront gathered based on information pieced together that ACP Rabo was not a targeted victim either as a private citizen or as a police officer but it was just an opportunity that played out for the kidnappers.
The kidnappers, it was further gathered carried out an indiscriminate attack in their usual malicious target at the citizens using that particular area of their operation.
ACP Rabo is believed to have fallen into the waiting trap of the kidnappers that laid siege on that particular road.
