IGP Adamu Orders Posting and Redeployment of Senior Police Officers

…As Rivers state gets new Police Commissioner

 BY VICTOR BUORO, ABUJA – The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the posting and redeployment of some Senior Police Officers to Command, Formation and Department.

Those affected in the redeployments include CP Dandaura Mustapha who has been moved to Provost Department at the Force Headquarters, Abuja while CP Joseph Gobum Mukan takes charge as CP of Rivers State Command just as CP Musa Adze is to head the Anti-Fraud Unit

The IGP charges the affected Commissioners of Police to diligently and professionally discharge their duties in their new areas of responsibilities.

 A statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Frank Mba, stated that the posting and the redeployment of the affected Senior Police Officers takes immediate effect
