Ikulu Chiefdom Assures Of Support, Commitment Towards Govt. Policies, Dev Goals

The Ikulu traditional chiefdom in Kaduna State has assured of its commitment towards supporting, complimenting, participating, assisting to mould and implementing government policies for the achievement and attainment of meaningful developmental goals in the State.

The chiefdom which made the pledged at an engagement meeting with the member representing Zangon Kataf State constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Samuel Kambai and his delegation, said that the resolve of the Ikulu chiefdom is predicated on its believe that development can be better achieved in an atmosphere of peace, unity and mutual understanding amongst the people.

Dr. Ayasal Anthony, who is the Kamuru Ikulu, the overseer of the Chiefdom, stated these when he received Hon Kambai, who was accompanied by the chairman of Zangon Kataf Local Government Council, Mr. Joseph Bege Gaiya, at the palace of the Agwom Ikulu.

The traditional ruler said the people of the Ikulu chiefdom are known for their support of government to better their lives.

Ayasal noted that the visit by Kambai was timely particularly at a time when Ikulu traditional Chiefdom is committed to joining the government and other relevant stakeholders to move the chiefdom and Zangon Kataf Local Government forward.

The Kamuru Ikulu expressed delight on the foresight of Hon Kambai for embarking on a familiarization visit across his constituency for an inclusive leadership.

Ayasal said that chiefdom has been working to strengthen security and foster development in the domain and beyond among others.

Earlier in his remarks, Hon Kambai said the visit was part of his plan for ideas gathering and sharing with the traditional councils and other members of the community on how to bring more development to his constituency.

The lawmaker commended the Ikulu chiefdom under the effective watch of Dr. Ayasal Anthony for discharging its duty of promoting peace and coexistence amongst the people and groups.

Speaking in turn, the chairman of Zangon Kataf Local Government Council, Mr. Joseph Bege Gaiya, noted that engagement with stakeholders will go a long way in helping Governor Uba Sani’s administration to achieve set goals and good governance.

Gaiya therefore solicited the continue support of the Ikulu chiefdom for government at all levels with a view to addressing the needs of the people as well as make more meaningful and impactful progress.

The event had in attendance, district heads, village heads, hardos, traditional title holders and some key members of the community.
