I’ll Expose Yusuf, Kwankwaso At The Appropriate Time – Sacked SSG-Bichi Vows

The political atmosphere in Kano seems to be entering into a stormy weather as the immediate past Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Abdullahi Baffa Bichi has vowed to expose Governor Abba Yusuf and the leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Baffa Bichi, who was sacked as SSG alongside with five commissioners in December 2024 by Governor Yusuf, specifically swore that he would expose his two former leaders with videos, voice notes and other documented evidences.

Baffa Bichi has been at odds with the leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, after leading a political group, Abba Tsaya da Kafarka, secretly clamouring for Yusuf to part ways with his political godfather, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

The sacked SSG, however expressed joy that he left office in peace, adding that it is not yet time for him to speak on the political happenings in the State.

Baffa Bichi said; “At the appropriate time we will expose them, so that people will understand the kind of people they are. They cannot be trusted”.

Addressing some of his supporters on Thursday, January 9, 2025, on return from Saudi Arabia, Baffa Bichi said that he has damning and incriminating documents, videos and voice notes against Governor Yusuf and Kwankwaso.

In a veiled reference to Governor Yusuf and former governor Kwankwaso, Baffa Bichi said the two leaders are deceptive, treacherous and cannot be trusted.

In the words of Baffa; “They are not trustworthy people… They are very deceptive. They don’t know anything except treachery and betrayal. They are not people to be trusted.

“We have documented everything from written to audio and video evidence,” he told his supporters.

Baffa Bichi, who was sacked as SSG was before his sack by Governor Yusuf, also suspended by the Kano State chapter of the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP), over allegation bothering on disloyalty to the party and its leadership.
