Imo: PDP Commences Peaceful Protest In Abuja On Monday

BY VICTOR BUORO, ABUJA – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), its members and members of the public to embark on a peaceful, civil and non-violent protest in the Federal Capital Territory on Monday, January 20, 2020.

The Party in a statement by its National Organising Secretary, Col Austin Akobundu (rtd) said that the protest is in line with the approval of the National Executive Committee of the Party.

Accordingly, the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has directed for the peaceful, civil and non-violent protest to register the displeasure of the Party against the current state of affairs in the country, especially the miscarriages of justice of the Supreme Court against the lawfully elected Governor of Imo.

The statement explained that the Take-off point of the protest which is expected to kick start by 9:00am will be the Legacy House, Maitama District, Abuja.

The opposition Party said that this is a clarion call to all lovers of Democracy as they join hands to save the nation.
