Evil minded men of the underworld otherwise referred to as bandits on Monday night executed three out of the 26 persons they abducted from Ungwan Bulus in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The bandits have equally threatened that if by 12:00pm on Tuesday, the N20million ransom they demanded is not paid, they would kill the remaining kidnapped victims with them.

The Chief of Ungwan Bulus, Gideon Haruna Goni announced this to journalists in his palace on Tuesday April 19, 2022, adding that the terrorists called the community to inform them that they should go and pick corpses of those killed around Dutse Community, along the Kaduna-Abuja highway.

Goni also said that the terrorists called that if the community fail to pay the N20m they demanded before 12pm on Tuesday (April 19, 2022), others would be assassinated.

According to the traditional ruler; “They have threatened to kill more, especially women if their demands are not met. 26 were abducted, one was released on health ground and three were killed”.

Goni said that on March 31, 2022, the bandits invaded his community at about 8:00pm, shot and killed two people and abducted 26 others.

He further said; “We came together as a community, raised some amount of money but, they only called us and told us to pick corpses of some of the victims at Dutse.

“I am appealing to them not to kill anyone. We are also appealing to the Kaduna State and Federal Government as well as religious clerics to come to our rescue so that the killings will stop,” he appealed.

It was gathered that one of those whose family members were kidnapped, was able to raise N7m, but the terrorists insisted on N20m or they will keep killing their victims.
