BY AUSTIN AJAYI, YOLA – In his resolve to ensure security of lives and properties in the state, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri on Monday night personally led service commanders on night patrol.

This is as he assured full support to security agencies to ensure the security of lives and properties in Adamawa State

The night patrol followed the increasing activities of ‘Shilla Boys’ who are known to use tricycles to commit crimes in the state capital and its environs.

Fintiri had signed an Executive Order banning operations of tricycles from 10:00pm to 5:00am in Yola North, Yola South and Girei Local Government Areas.
A statement by the press secretary to the governor, Humwhasi Wonosikou, said Fintiri personally led patrol to ensure compliance with the Executive Order.
According to Wonosikou; “Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has joined night patrol alongside security chiefs to monitor compliance of the Order restricting movement of Keke Napep operators.
“Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who led the joint patrol team assured residents of the state that government will continue to strategize on how best to secure the State from criminals and ensure safety of the people”.
While commending security agencies for doing a good job, Fintiri assured that Government will continue to collaborate with them towards achieving a crime free society.
