IPOB: Kanu’s Letter Stopping Sit-At-Home is Fake – Ekpa Says
The self-acclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra Republic Government based in Finland, Simon Ekpa, has described the letter purportedly written by the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as not only a joke but an insult taken too far.
IPOB leader, Kanu had in a handwritten letter addressed to Ekpa, directed him to stop the ‘Sit-At-Home’ directive and also stop the unwarranted criticisms of Southeast governors.
But, in a swift response on Friday, Ekpa stressed that the letter being circulated was fake, untrue and concocted by mischief-makers who do not want Biafra’s liberation.
Ekpa also said that the IPOB leader, Kanu was being misrepresented, stressing that as the Prime Minister under the leadership of Mazi Kanu, he urged all Biafrans to disregard the fake letter coming from the Department of State Services (DSS).
He therefore reiterated his demand for the release of Kanu to ensure lasting peace in the Southeast.
Ekpa said; “Our attention has been drawn to the fake letter from the pit of hell being paraded by Nigerian media claiming that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wrote a letter.
“It is not only a joke but an insult taken too far that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra is being misrepresented in this way,” he said.
