Further explaining that no data is saved on the OAGF website, the statement said the IPPIS uses the website to only share information and not for any transaction.

“The IPPIS is not using the OAGF website for any transaction. The website is actually the medium to share information. Neither payroll nor payment is made through the website, therefore, no data is contained in the website”, the statement said.

The OAGF while acknowledging that the importance of IPPIS to Nigerian workers, said it became imperative to allay fears of any loss or breach of employees’ personal data in the IPPIS database.

Similarly, the OAGF stated that the IPPIS has put in place necessary mechanism to resolve challenges arising from its operations, even as it advised workers who observe anomalies in their salaries to explore official channels and procedures in resolving such issues.
